I Feel Inspired By…
An anaphora poem. An anthem for life.

I feel inspired by mother nature and its greatness. Its diversity. Its wonderful colors and shapes. And its infinite beauty.
I feel inspired by the wonderful people who fight for love, peace, and justice.
I feel inspired by those who are brave enough to stand up to hatred, bigotry, ignorance, discrimination and inequity with endurance and resilience.
I feel inspired by those who open up their hearts and veins to tell their stories about their struggles with honesty, candor, integrity, and vulnerability.
I feel inspired by people who are curious, who take on new adventures, who step out of their comfort zone to find their call or to help others in need.
I feel inspired by my friend’s achievements, the unique moments that we have had together, the struggles we’ve been through, and the years ahead of us.
I feel inspired by writing, its prose. Its powerful take on life through words and sentences. Only through words, I can let my imagination shine.
I feel inspired by strong women, their bravery, their strength and their ability to fearlessly beat the patriarchy with fierceness, leadership and tenacity.
I feel inspired by my readers, their loyalty, their time, and appreciation for my work. Their support makes me humble and keeps me grounded.
I feel inspired by my limitations, my inner critic, my misfortunes and by all the things I’m candidly ignorant about but I’m eager to learn and explore.
I feel inspired by children and their ability to create and enjoy life freely without fear, resentment and prejudice.
I feel inspired by creative people who never take no for an answer, who stoutheartedly put their ideas, thoughts, souls, and sacrifice into their craft on a daily basis, for the world to see and judge.
I feel inspired by open-minded people, their tolerance, and their constant efforts to strive for a better democracy. And for their bravery to challenge the rotten status quo.
I feel inspired by Medium, their writers, their fascinating stories and the sincere-enlightened conversations we often get ourselves into.
I feel inspired by those who are able to maintain an open, honest conversation with those who have ideas opposed to their own.
I feel inspired by the LGBTQ community, their inclusion policies, their constant fight to be whoever they want to be and love whoever they want to love, while at the same time spreading tolerance and joy along the way.
I feel inspired by those who come from poverty-stricken places, and with determination, courage, perseverance, and hard work get to places where only the privileged and wealthy are supposed to be.
I feel inspired by those who are on the task to protect the environment and are willing to sacrifice everything to take care of our planet earth. They understand that this is our beloved home and that we only have one place to live. We should join their efforts.
I feel inspired by those who daringly challenge the system, tackle with courage unfairness, and stand up bravely for their rights and others’ galvanizing with enthusiasm wherever they go.
I feel inspired by my mother who has taught me incredible lessons, who provided me with tons of wisdom and gave me her extraordinary sense of humor.
I feel inspired, motivated, challenged, driven, excited by the grandiosity of our world, our people, and our collective inspiration. The boldness of our work. The legacy left by visionaries —that we should carry with responsibility and dignity. I don’t want to stop feeling inspired because it is inspiration what keeps us honest and true to our essence in life as humans. Inspiration is ingrained in our spirit and without it, we won’t be able to move forward or thrive.
May inspiration grant you happiness, freedom, love, tranquility, contentment, strength, and cure you from whatever pain or hassle you’re experiencing. I’m grateful. I’m thrilled to be alive. I feel inspired.
